i'm home! it feels funny calling this place home, but i have to admit i missed it.. and couldn't wait to get back. i spent two days in SJ for the scrap exp0. it was fun.. i'll write about it in another entry later.. i have a heapload of things to do today.

My room is DISASTER (i never really finished unpacking, and there's a mess left behind from working on those journals. I also have to go through all my paperwork that got thrown into a box when i was moving. There are bills to be paid and! i have to do my taxes. blahh.

man, being an adult is SO not fun.

jim: how was the thing yesterday
hamak0san: it was cool.. i didn't realize i knew that much people in SJ. hehe
hamak0san: made me feel good
hamak0san: the journals sold alright... but i not as well as i hoped, cuz i didn't think about the fact that anyone who goes to the exp0 is probably someone who KNOWS what they're doing, and they like making things themselves
hamak0san: so i think it'll sell better in the store
hamak0san: but i DID get everyone stopping at the booth to see them, say how cool they were and told me i was talented and all

hamak0san: i mean, i sold them to the store, so it doesn't really hurt me
hamak0san: and i really do think she'll sell them in no time at the store
hamak0san: as long as she keeps hers away from mine

hamak0san: it's not that i think i'm GREAT. cuz i think there are people out there that put mine to shame. but her.. like, she doesn't do things for the pleasure.. it's strictly money. so there's no heart that goes into it. she doesn't pay attention to detail, she doesn't understand art, colors, patterns, all that stuff. she just goes "oh, that paper has a strawberry on it. oh, that paper has a fruit on it too- lets put it together!' not keeping in mind that maybe one is blue checkered and the other is rainbow stripes.
